About the Book:

Three years of hope, confusion and frustration since the Egyptian uprising in 2011. Continuous rounds of hope turned into frustration and frustration into hope with every president taking his first steps inside the presidential palace. The intensity of such events have probably passed without much attention by millions of hard-working Egyptians who were busy earning a living, but for me as a photographer, I have been in the heart of such change. I have documented the most radical and influential events during those years. The 2011 uprising against Mubarak, the fall of the old dictator, the SCAF governs control of the country, Morsy, the first elected president in Egypt's history. However, the situation remains as it was or is maybe even worse. Every time I look back at these pictures, I recall vividly every detail in my head. With a mix of hope, frustration, sadness and joy, strength and weakness, Stations records Egyptian history between four rulers from 2011 till 2014.
