General GPP Questions
We are located in Warehouse D36 inside of Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz 1, Dubai. Alserkal Avenue is located on the street behind Times Square Center, and you can find our full address and location map here. Drive safe!
Great question! Our space is only open for workshops on Fridays, but we have regular working hours from 10am - 7pm on Saturdays. You can check out our weekly timings here.
If you’re traveling by metro, you can get off at either FGB Metro Station or Noor Islamic Bank Metro Station. Both stops are on the Red Line, and you can either walk from there (roughly 30 minutes walking time) or take a taxi to Alserkal Avenue. The taxi fare from either station is approximately AED 12 - 15, and the drive should take 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
There are multiple cafes and food outlets within easy walking distance of GPP, and all located inside of Alserkal Avenue. There’s also an ATM inside of the Avenue (HSBC). It’s located just outside of A4 Space, which is less than 200 meters from our front door!
Alas, dear friend, we do not take passport photos for people. But we can definitely help with printing them.
We recommend looking for a hotel in any of the following Dubai neighborhoods: Al Barsha, Barsha Heights, Jumeirah 3, or Al Safa. All of these neighborhoods are within 20 minutes driving distance of GPP (pending traffic!).
We take both - never fear!
Step #1: Make sure you’re submitting photography. We love all the arts, but we only exhibit photography at GPP.

Nope! But if you’re in the market for a bargain or hoping to sell your own gear, we recommend checking out our Market Day event. It’s a free event that we host 3 - 4 times a year so that the local photography community can come together to buy and sell photo gear. If you’re subscribed up to our monthly newsletter and follow our social media channels, you’ll be among the first to know when new events and dates are announced.
Workshops
Start by registering as a GPP member in the upper right-hand corner of the website or by logging in, if you already have an account. Then go to WORKSHOPS to browse our selection of workshops. When you find the workshop that meets your photography needs, choose your preferred workshop dates, and select “Add to Cart”. From there, follow our simple checkout process to complete your booking. You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of completing your order.

Alternatively, you can visit us in person during our regular working hours, and we’ll be happy to process your payment via card or cash and get you booked in.
Payment must be made prior to the start of your workshop in order to guarantee you a spot in the workshop. You can book your workshop on our website or pass by GPP in person during our regular working hours so we can help you process payment and get booked in.
We are not an accredited institution, so we do not issue degrees or certifications like those awarded by universities. However, we are happy to prepare you a custom certificate of completion for any workshop that you take with us. Send us an email at least 3 days before the start of your workshop, and we’ll have your certificate ready and waiting for you to collect at the end of your class.
Sure thing! If you don’t have your own DSLR or mirrorless camera, we have a limited number of loan cameras available that you can borrow (free of charge!) during your Photography Level 1, Photography Level 2, or Introduction to Video workshop. All you need to bring is your own SD card.

To request to borrow a loan camera for your workshop, email us at least 36 hours in advance of your workshop with the subject line "Help! I Need a Camera!”; please include your workshop dates and order confirmation number in the email. Please note that we have a limited number of loan cameras available, and the program works on a first-come, first-served basis.
To redeem your gift card, simply log in to your GPP account on our website (or register as a member for the first time). Then add your desired workshop(s), prints, editions, or store products in your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout page. You’ll see a box where you can enter your gift card number and complete your payment. You’ll receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of completing your order.

Alternatively, you can visit us in person during our regular working hours, and we’ll be happy to help you redeem your GPP gift card towards one of our workshops or other shop items and services.
Absolutely. We offer all of our regular workshops as private classes upon request, or we can arrange for a customized workshop based on your needs. Fill out the form here, and we’ll work with you to choose the right workshop, instructor, and schedule to suit your needs.
Good question! The cancellation policy for each workshop is found at the bottom of that workshop’s detail page on our website. If you have already booked the workshop, you will have received a copy of the cancellation policy in your confirmation email as well.
Gift Cards
Talk about friendship! You absolutely can. There are two options: you can either book the workshop for your friend under your own name (if you know what dates they are free to attend), or you can purchase a personalized gift card for them. To purchase a gift card, click here, select the monetary amount you want to give, and check out. You can then create a personalized digital gift card by following the instructions in your confirmation email, or you can pass by GPP in person so we can prepare a beautiful, personalized card for you to give your special someone. And if you need help deciding on the perfect workshop for your lucky friend, just give us a call - we’re happy to help!
All gift cards are valid for 9 months from the date of purchase, and they cannot be extended under any circumstances. That said, our workshop schedule shows 3 months at a time. You must redeem the gift card within 9 months by booking the workshop within that time, but the workshop date may be outside of that 9-month validity period.
