Richard Allenby-Pratt

Richard Allenby-Pratt is a commercial photographer and photographic artist living in Suffolk, England, but dividing his time between the UK and the UAE. He previously lived in Dubai for 16 years and completed a number of photographic projects, looking at economics, development, natural and social environments, and sustainability. In 2009, Richard made a public space installation of his project ‘Community 366’ on the beach in Umm Suqeim. In 2012, he exhibited his ‘Abandoned’ project at Shelter in Al Serkal Avenue. In 2016, he combined a number of projects in his show ‘The Anthropocene’ at Gulf Photo Plus, Al Serkal Avenue. His work has also been included in a number of group exhibitions, international awards schemes and museum shows. Richard continues to work on both commercial and personal projects in the UAE.
