DESCRIPTION

This image is one from a series that Olya showed in an exhibition titled "The One I Wish"  at the Iranian Art House in Tehran.  In photographing this series Olya followed practitioners of Parkour, those who through practice and repetition are able to vault, roll, run, climb, and jump off of architectural elements found in urban landscapes.  This physical discipline challenges the body and mind to overcome obstacles, and to push one's abilities to new limits.
