Shooting Music & Fashion
Level: Video - Confident Beginner
From the technical to the artistic choices, shooting music and fashion allows the videographer to take creative license into their own hands when creating a video to complement another artist’s work, such as a fashion collection or a song.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll have rare access to a model and fashion pieces in order to shoot a lookbook video, together with your fellow workshop participants. Your instructor, Valentina Vee, will cover techniques that are especially useful in music and fashion, such as overcranking (slow motion), light spill effects, and how to incorporate dancing and music into a seamless dynamic shot.
From indoor to outdoor lighting techniques, you’ll leave this workshop with a solid foundation to be able to shoot your own music and fashion videos, either for yourself or a client.
This workshop focuses on shooting, but does not cover editing video. For editing, the recommended follow-on workshop is Introduction to Editing Video or Intensive Video Editing or both, according to your current level and goal.
You can watch on Valentina's Youtube Channel some of the videos that she has directed.
