The Fundamentals of Architectural Photography
Level: Photography - Confident Beginner
For the confident beginner photographer seeking to get started with architecture, this workshop by architectural photographer Mike Kelley, is the perfect way to lay your foundation. You will benefit from the wisdom of a seasoned professional, learning how to navigate common pitfalls, anticipate light, and conceptualize architectural compositions.
The lecture portion of this workshop will be geared toward helping you create dynamic images that will be attractive to a client, as well as the general public. With two on location shoots, one at sunrise and one at sunset, you will learn how to shoot in various lighting conditions, and come away with portfolio-ready images.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll receive focused feedback on your images, and Mike will demonstrate his workflow process and go-to tools in Photoshop, for which he’ll offer a handout that you can take home for reference later, as you edit your future architectural and interior shoots.
