Photography for Beginners (SAT)

Level: Photography - Beginner
In this class, RC Concepcion will teach you the fundamental concepts of photography, and how to use these concepts to create great images.  You’ll experiment on making great images by going out and making pictures in the scenic Alserkal area and come back to the classroom for importing and finishing the pictures in Lightroom.

In this workshop you will cover the following:
·      Understanding the modes of your camera
·      Understanding lens choices for making pictures
·      How overriding the camera controls can help you make better pictures
·      Elements of composition for framing the best images possible.
·      How to import the images into Adobe Lightroom
·      Processing the images in Lightroom and getting them ready to print.

Students will be expected to bring a camera and lens (or multiple lenses) for the shoot and be expected to participate in shooting experiences. Back in the classroom, we will go over the pictures and offer critique on how to make images better.
