Editing & Workflow for Wedding Photographers

Level: Processing - Confident Beginner

This workshop is aimed at photographers who want to streamline their workflow processing and take a peek into the way that Kevin edits his files.  All attendees should have at least a working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom.  We will also dabble with Photoshop, though it’s not part of the overall workflow.

  • In-camera file management

  • Back ups and card management

  • Amazingly quick image selection

  • Lightroom catalog structures and best practice

  • Library & Develop Module

  • Utilising Smart Collections

  • Editing colour and Monochrome

  • Enhanced Exporting and cloud storage management

You are currently at least at the level of shooting in Aperture or Shutter priority modes and can use the basic features on your camera confidently to create a correct exposure.

You have a basic understanding of the entry-level image adjustment features of this software and can apply simple enhancements to your work.

You are looking to consolidate your understanding, increase your repertoire of tools and learn some more creative techniques.


To take part in this workshop, you also need to have a good understanding of Lightroom interface as the instructor will not be able to give you personal attention if you are not at the right level for this class. If you'd like to catch up on this knowledge, please consider taking GPP’s regular workshop Adobe Lightroom Level 1.

About the Instructor
Kevin Mullins

Kevin is a documentary wedding photographer and social family photographer based in Wiltshire, England. He was one of the first official Fujifilm X-Photographers in the United Kingdom, and has been shooting with Fujifilm since the original X100 was launched in 2011.

Kevin is known across Europe for his unique photographic style and is a well-respected educator, speaking at conferences in the USA, Argentina, Japan and Europe. His wedding photography has recently been exhibited by Fujifilm in a month-long exhibition at Tokyo Square, Japan.
